After exploring the Lion’s Arch several times it became quite clear that one of the Vistas was well hidden from view. After several failed attempts to find it, we FINALLY discovered the exact location of the Sharkmaw Caverns Vista. ArenaNet really tucked this one away but we uncovered it and figured out a quick and easy route to it as well. Here’s the tutorial video for getting to the Vista:
Basically, you need to head toward the Farshore Ward area which is located a bit South-East of the Grand Piazza. Once you reach the Farshore Waypoint you’ll need to walk up the stairs into the crops and head East until you reach Tokk’s Mill (a point of interest location that counts toward the Lion’s Arch map completion).
Step 2
Once here, walk down to the far right and hop onto the hay bale. Then onto the set of hay bales to the right of that one. Hop on the rock ledge from here to the roof of the mill itself.
Step 3
Once you are on the roof walk toward the back and land on the patch of ground below. Head into the hidden passageway show in the video (located to the right of the other hay bales). Head up the hill from the passage and go through the next hidden path at the top of the hill (refer to video).
Step 4
Begin climbing the rock ledge on the left side of the clearing you are now in. Once you are on the grass/rock platform head toward the next ledge and jump your way up to the Vista itself. Hit ‘F’ to view the Vista.

The Sharkmaw Caverns Vista is a unique one, too. When you view it you’ll be given a short cinematic that ends with a quick lead into the throat of the cave just beyond where you are. The cave itself looks somewhat like a skull. Within this cave is a pretty cool jumping puzzle involving a pirate and some awesome pirate booty (treasure)! We’ll be producing a video tutorial for that soon and will link to it here when it’s live!
