The holidays are finally coming to an end. Christmas has passed, the new year is upon us and everyone is getting back into their regular routines. Changes for Mesmers (Mainly for the Better)
Last month ArenaNet decided to tweak some of the stats and abilities of several of the classes in GW2. One that was altered a good bit was the Mesmer profession. But, it isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Instead of the class getting nerfs across the board there were many improvements made to the Mesmer skills. The writers of Guild Wars Insider took to blogging about the changes and did a great job of breaking down what all the changes mean for this profession.

Gold Farming Tips for Dungeons
Most players that constantly farm for gold and high valued items (such as exotics) stick to popular areas such as The Cursed Shore and tend to stay away from playing through dungeons. The guys over at Guild Wars 2 Riches say that farmers that don’t do dungeon runs are missing out on a ton of fast gold, though. They state that due to diminished returns you’ve really got to mix up your farming spots once in a while and dungeons could be a gold mine.

Having a Hard Time Finding Groups for Dungeon Runs?
Everyone knows that finding a full party to run your favorite dungeon with can be a real pain. Some dungeons just aren’t very popular and other times you’ll just get stuck with a bunch of noobs who will slow you down and destroy the run for you. Thankfully, some incredible mind came up with the idea of making a site where players could basically post ads to form groups and, amazingly, it works… FAST. Guild Wars 2 Guru unveiled the wonders of the website, GW2LFG.com this week.

Expansion Coming Soon?
It’s no secret that Guild Wars 2 has been one of the most successful MMORPG’s of the past year or so. Despite the failures of many before it, GW2 has managed to rack up sales and awards even after 2012 closed out. A financial analyst has mentioned that because ArenaNet has done so well, players should expect to see an expansion for the game sometime during the 2nd half of 2013.
